“The purpose of this meeting is to provide the general public, interested stakeholders, affected governmental agencies and other interested parties timely information regarding the site layouts considered and the preferred option for the Facility Master Plan for replacement of the Robley Rex VA Medical Center (VAMC). The master plan Architect will present conceptual layouts of the new campus and discuss the following points: campus organization principles, campus zones, evaluation criteria, traffic circulation, building massing, parking, and utilities. The VAMC’s preferred master plan option will be used by the VA and its separately contracted team of design professionals as a guidance tool for design and construction of the new medical center. The Robley Rex VAMC master plan is not a final design or solution; its sole intent and purpose is for providing guidance to the entire VA building team as the new medical center advances towards realization.”
