Univ. of Louisville Hospital is now restructuring management..out with the old, in with the new! Previously, the purge of nurses and lab workers resulted in a severe staff shortage,… closing of “beds”, hiring “traveling nurses” and agency nurses. The hospital continues to flow along understaffed and badly managed…they need 93 more nurses, but as they are hired…others quit. Even the bait of $20.00/hr extra to work during the holidays failed to attract the needed hands-on staff.
